The popular music composer has composed for more than 85 films including 7 G Rainbow Colony, Manmadhan, Raam, Sandaikozhi, Pattiyal, Vallavan, Paruthiveeran, Chennai-28, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Billa, Dheena, Paiyaa, Saroja, Boss Engira Bhaskaran, Avan Ivan and Mankatha.

Yuvan was earlier married to his girl friend Sujaya in March 2oo5. But this marriage did not last for long.
The marriage broke within 2 years and they got divorced. Later on Yuvan fell in love with Shilpa who is a doctor by profession. They both decided to get married. Both the family members have agreed for this marriage.
The marriage took place today morning at Tirupathi. Only his father Ilayaraja and close family members participated in this marriage. The marriage reception is to take place tomorrow in a star hotel in Chennai.
